Terms of Service

Agreement

These terms apply when you engage DJB Web Studio ("we," "us," "the studio") for website design, development, or launch services. By submitting a project request or paying a deposit, you agree to these terms.

Services

We provide website design, development, and launch setup (domain connection, hosting setup) as described on this site. Specific deliverables, pages, and features for your project are agreed upon before work begins.

Pricing & Payment

Pricing depends on project scope and is provided as an estimate until finalized. A 30% down payment based on the original project cost is required before work begins, with the remaining balance due at or before launch. Add-on, revision, and maintenance pricing is listed on our pricing page and may change for future projects.

Revisions

Each package includes a reasonable number of revision rounds as discussed at the start of the project. Additional revision rounds beyond what's agreed can be added for an extra fee.

Client Responsibilities

You're responsible for providing accurate content (text, images, logo, and business information) in a timely manner. Delays in providing content may extend the project timeline.

Ownership

Upon full payment, you own the final website design and content created specifically for your project. Domain names, hosting accounts, and third-party tools or licenses remain the property of whoever purchased them and are not transferred automatically.

Cancellations & Refunds

Down payments are non-refundable once design or development work has started, since they cover time already committed to your project. If a project is cancelled before work begins, the down payment may be refunded at our discretion, minus any costs already incurred.

Maintenance

Ongoing maintenance is optional, billed monthly, and can be cancelled at any time with notice. Maintenance does not include large redesigns or new feature builds, which are quoted separately.

Limitation of Liability

DJB Web Studio is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of a delivered website, including outages caused by third-party providers.

Third-Party Services

Projects may depend on third-party services (hosting providers, domain registrars, form processors). We are not responsible for outages, price changes, or policy changes made by those providers.

Changes to These Terms

These terms may be updated for future projects. The version in effect at the time you engage our services applies to that project.
